CLW, was founded in 2004, The group’s headquarters is situated in Suizhou City, Hubei Province, a place earning it the title of “Capital of China’s Special Purpose Vehicles.” With a total registered capital of $100 million , Chengli Group is a diversified conglomerate that encompasses the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and financial services of a wide range of automotive products, including complete vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, new energy vehicles, automotive parts, and emergency equipment. The company’s development scale is impressive, with four core production bases located in various strategic areas. These include the southern suburbs of Suizhou’s Zengdu District (Chengli Special Purpose Vehicle Company), Zengdu Economic Development Zone (Chengli Group Company, Chengli Dali Company), Huangpi District of Wuhan City (Chengli Heavy Industry Company), and Dongjin New District of Xiangyang (Chengli Xinfu Company).
The group currently occupies over 5,000 acres of land, employs 13,000 registered staff members, and has over 2 million square meters of construction area. It is equipped with more than 5,000 units of various large-scale production equipment. Chengli Group encompasses 17 subsidiaries, over 100 specialized factories, and more than 40 member factories.
Annually, it has the capacity to produce 50,000 sets of automotive chassis, 100,000 special-purpose vehicles, 10,000 new energy vehicles, and 20,000 sets of emergency equipment. Furthermore, the group has established joint manufacturing and comprehensive service bases in Qingyuan, Guangdong; Guiyang, Guizhou; Changchun, Jilin; Wulanchabu, Inner Mongolia; Yinchuan, Ningxia; and Dingxi, Gansu, among other places.
The company’s qualifications and capabilities are robust, having obtained a range of certifications which include the ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certifications. Additionally, the company has received the Energy Management System certification, as well as the national military standard, qualification certifications of confidentiality and national defense construction supporting service . Furthermore, the company has secured the 3C mandatory certification, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certification, and the EU agreement ADR certification. The company’s R&D capabilities are formidable, with the establishment of a “Provincial-level Enterprise Technology Center,” “Provincial-level Engineering Technology Research Center,” and “Hubei Province Engineering Research Center for Emergency Rescue Support Vehicles.” It owns a team of over 1300 technical personnel and has set up innovative platforms such as the “Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base” and the “Wuhan University of Technology Student Training Base.”
